Spike Chunsoft has kicked off its Black Friday 2024 sale on the PlayStation Store. The promotion offers a great opportunity for PlayStation console owners to grab a bunch of RPGs and visual novels without breaking the bank.
This year's iteration of Black Friday falls on November 29. But as has been tradition for years now, many game publishers have launched their Black Friday 2024 deals at least a week early.

The Japanese publisher's latest promotion includes deals on over 20 PlayStation titles, with discounts reaching up to 85% off. Two Danganronpa games—turn-based RPG Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp and action adventure Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls—had their prices cut by 60% as part of the sale.

Spike Chunsoft's Black Friday 2024 promo will be of particular interest to fans of PlayStation visual novels. E.g., 5pb's critically acclaimed visual novel Robotics;Notes is discounted by 65% as part of the sale, as is its sequel, Robotics;Notes DaSH. Some other entries in the Science Adventure series have also been treated to steep discounts, including Steins;Gate: My Darling's Embrace and STEINS;GATE ELITE, which are currently available at 65% and 80% off, respectively. Meanwhile, the remake of the 1996 classic YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World can presently be picked up at 70% off, as can the latest entry in the Zero Escape series.

While Spike Chunsoft also publishes games for the Switch, Xbox consoles, and PCs, the company has yet to introduce any Black Friday 2024 deals for non-PlayStation platforms. As for the PS Store sale at hand, its 21 discounts are unlikely to be topped until 2025.
