With that being said, Bandai Namco's slate of upcoming releases seems fairly promising. So far, the company has announced 7 games that it plans to publish, such as the Supermassive Games-developed horror platformer Little Nightmares 3 and the dark action RPG Dawnwalker from Rebel Wolves. While these two particular titles haven't received exact release windows just yet, some other ones have already been dated. In fact, four of Bandai Namco's games are set to be launched in the first half of 2025. Unless any unexpected delays occur, it seems like the publisher will get off to a pretty strong start next year.

Bandai Namco Has a Lot of Releases Planned for the First Half of 2025

Remasters of Freedom Wars and Tales of Graces f Are Launching in January

The first two titles on Bandai Namco's list of 2025 releases aren't necessarily new games, but rather remasters. One of them is Freedom Wars Remastered, an enhanced port of a Monster Hunter-style action RPG that originally debuted in 2014. The original Freedom Wars is still a PlayStation Vita exclusive to this day, but its remaster is going to be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC when it comes out on January 10, 2025. Shortly after the launch of this game, Bandai Namco plans to release another title, Tales of Graces f Remastered, for PS4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 17.

Tales of Graces launched as a Wii exclusive in Japan, but it was later ported to the PS3 (and released as an exclusive for the console) in the West. Now that it's getting a remaster, it'll finally be accessible on all modern platforms.

Synduality: Echo of Ada is Bandai Namco's First New Game for 2025

The Freedom Wars and Tales of Graces remasters aren't the only Bandai Namco titles coming out at the start of 2025, because Synduality: Echo of Ada is launching in January, as well. For those unfamiliar with it, this game is a sci-fi PvPvE extraction shooter that features action RPG mechanics and giant playable mechs. It's part of a larger multimedia franchise produced by Bandai Namco, which includes an anime, a manga, a light novel, and even a serial novel. Synduality: Echo of Ada is being developed by Game Studio Inc., and it's set to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on January 27.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is Coming Out Sometime in Early 2025

Another Bandai Namco game that's coming out in the first half of 2025 is Bleach: Rebirth of Souls. Like many of the other licensed anime titles produced by the company, Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is a 3D arena fighter. It, however, features a unique, one-hit kill gameplay mechanic that puts an interesting twist on the classic fighting game formula. Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is also noteworthy due to the fact that it's the first Bleach game designed for home consoles in more than a decade. This arena fighter doesn't currently have a release date, but Bandai Namco intends to launch it sometime in early 2025.

Little Nightmares 3 and Fate/EXTRA Record May Be Released in the Near Future

While Bandai Namco hasn't officially announced any other games for the first half of 2025, there are a few other titles that may come out in this time frame, like Little Nightmares 3 and Fate/EXTRA Record. Little Nightmares 3 was originally meant to launch in 2024 before it was delayed to 2025, but since the year is almost over, its development may almost be finished. The same can be said about the upcoming JRPG Fate/EXTRA Record, which has been in the works for nearly half a decade. Although fans shouldn't expect these two games to come out in early 2025 until Bandai Namco officially says so, it's possible they may be released earlier than expected.
