Magic: The Gathering has revealed several cards from the game's upcoming collaboration with Marvel, featuring a plethora of the multimedia juggernaut's most iconic characters. The beloved trading card game has featured a wide variety of franchises within both its "Secret Lair" series of cards and as full booster sets, including media properties like Assassin's Creed and Fallout. Exclusive cards from the crossovers often command high price tags, like the one-of-a-kind "The One Ring" from the Lord of the Rings collaboration. Now, another set of fan-favorites is coming to the card game.
With a rich history of its "Universes Beyond" collaborations, Magic: The Gathering has already teased multiple franchises set to join the card game. Wizards of the Coast first announced the Marvel collaboration in late 2023, confirming that several Marvel heroes would make their way to the TCG. The Magic: The Gathering developer has also confirmed a crossover with Final Fantasy is in the works, expected to launch sometime in 2025. The next "Universes Beyond" has now been officially revealed with multiple Marvel Magic: The Gathering cards shown.

Magic: the Gathering Reveals Marvel Crossover Cards
As reported by ComicBook, Magic: The Gathering has revealed five different cards based on some of Marvel's most iconic superheroes. Wizards of the Coast officially unveiled its newest "Secret Lair" card series featuring Marvel heroes, with Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, Storm, and Black Panther receiving their own exclusive sets. Each set will come with five different playable cards featuring Marvel characters, with some sets also including a sixth Token card. The sets will be available on November 4th, priced at $39.99 USD for the non-foil versions and $49.99 USD for "rainbow foil" versions of the cards.
The stunning Secret Lair cards are far from the only new cards planned to come out of the sizable Marvel collaboration. Wizards of the Coast and Marvel revealed that the collaboration will include full expansion sets based on Marvel properties, with Spider-Man set to be the first featured series in 2025. Wizards of the Coast has not confirmed any other Marvel-focused sets of yet, but is reportedly planning to debut more expansions based on the comic book juggernaut's franchises.
Marvel's upcoming crossover into the Magic: The Gathering universe will look to follow in the footsteps of the game's previous popular collaborations. Wizards of the Coast debuted a Halloween Secret Lair drop for the release of the horror-themed "Duskmourn: House of Horror" set, featuring Chucky as "Kardur, Doomscourge" in the set. The card game titan also surprised fans earlier this year with a new Secret Lair drop featuring Magic: the Gathering cards based on Hatsune Miku. Magic: the Gathering's newest collaboration with Marvel is setting itself up to be another major success for the card game juggernaut.
